Stump grinding service
We grind tree stumps out below ground level so the area can be turfed, planted or landscaped. Single stumps, multiple stumps and large stumps across Essex, Hertfordshire and East London.
The service
Stump grinding is the quickest way to remove a tree stump without digging it out. The grinder cuts the stump away below ground level, so there is no large hole, no winching and very little disturbance to the garden around it.
Our standard grinding depth is approximately 8" (20cm) below ground level, which suits turf, planting beds and most landscaping. Where a job needs it, we can grind deeper or to another specification, as long as it is practical on the site.
The wood chips are normally raked back into the hole. If you would rather have them taken away, we can quote for removal separately.
