The job
Seven stumps. One very big horse chestnut.
This Brentwood garden had seven tree stumps to remove, ranging from smaller stumps to a much larger horse chestnut stump measuring around 5 ft across.
The horse chestnut was the standout stump of the job. A substantial amount of timber remained above ground, so it needed to be reduced before we could properly grind out the remaining stump and root plate.
The work
Reduced first. Then ground out.
We reduced the large horse chestnut stump first, removing the excess timber before bringing the Bandit SG-40 in to grind out the remaining stump.
We then worked through the garden, grinding out all seven stumps.
The result
Seven stumps. Gone.
All seven stumps were ground out, leaving the area clear and ready for the customer's next project.
