Michael was responsive from the start. He responded to the initial WhatsApp quickly and called round when there were questions. He problem solved on the access issues and provided two different solutions When he arranged the time for the work he was flexible in scheduling. The actual stump removing using a hand held grinder was done efficiently and he left the area tidy. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had large stump to be removed from a driveway we are landscaping. We were let down by a few people before I found the stump grinding company. Mike came over and quoted when he said he would and carried out the work quickly as we were desperate. Highly recommend and we will use again now on future projects.

A reliable and conscientious family business. We have relatively narrow access to our garden and were concerned that their stump-grinding machine wouldn't fit through. Mike came a couple of days beforehand to check everything and make sure the job would go smoothly. He and his father even helped my husband remove the back door before starting and put it back afterwards. They are lovely, friendly, and incredibly hard-working people who clearly take pride in what they do. We're delighted with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Was very quick responding to quote and reasonably priced. Was flexible around dates times and on the hottest June on record still did an amazing job removing a large hardwood stump in the middle of the garden. Worked safely and left things clean and tidy when done. Would recommend and would use them again.

Excellent stump grinding service in Old Harlow. My stump was in my garden with very tight access through the side gate, but The Stump Grinding Company had the right equipment to get through and remove it without issue. I found Mike via Google maps, saw he had good reviews and called for a quote to remove a hardwood stump that I’d tried digging out, killing with fire to no effect. Sent over photos with measurements, location, access etc. He quickly replied with a price that I was happy with, so asked him to come over. He arrived promptly, was friendly and professional throughout. Did a fantastic job of removing the stump. I thoroughly recommend and would use again!
