The job
16 stumps. Tight access.
This job involved removing 16 conifer stumps from a garden in Loughton with some tight access to work around.
The customer was concerned before the job that the stump grinder might not fit through the available access, so making sure we could reach every stump without unnecessary disruption to the garden was an important part of planning the work.
The work
Two tools. One complete job.
Using both the Bandit SG-40 and the Terminator chainsaw attachment meant we could reach every stump and complete the whole job despite the restricted access.
Where access allowed, we used the Bandit SG-40 for the main stump grinding work.
For the stumps that could not be reached appropriately with the larger machine, the Terminator attachment provided another way to tackle the restricted areas.
This allowed all 16 conifer stumps to be removed without forcing unsuitable machinery through the tighter parts of the garden.
The result
All 16 stumps removed.
All 16 conifer stumps were removed, leaving the garden clear and the work completed despite the restricted access.
